The junior kindergarteners read the book It Looked Like Spilt Milk. They examined lots of odd shapes, finding familiar objects within the shapes. In addition to their drawings, the students got to spill their own “milk” on paper, to see what kind of splatters they could get.

Matt, about his drawing, “This shape was just a fish, but then I turned it into a spider-fish. And the little orange one is a fire-fish, like a fireman, but a fish.”
