Ms. Walsh’s class has been studying Cambridge maps.  We found their routes from home to school via walking, bus, car, or T.  These route lines will be part of a large, textural painting, but they’re also going to become abstract art.  Using the route from home to school, the students cut out many photocopies of the route.  They arranged the routes in an interesting composition.  From here, the images will be scanned into the computer for a digital project, as well as a printmaking project.  If we have time, with only 5 classes left!
